Editor-in-chief of Soundtrack World, Anton Smit, has joined the International Film Music Critics Association. The IFMCA is an association of online, print and radio journalists who specialize in writing and broadcasting about original film and television music. In addition to sharing their passion and their knowledge of film music, they are also responsible for the IFMCA Awards which are well respected in the film music industry and community. Smit will be involved in the voting process for these awards from now on.
As a member of the IFMCA Anton Smit hopes to be able to promote film music, and music from other media, even more than he is already trying to do.
