Hernan Castro Fioravanti wins FMF Young Talent Award

Hernan Castro Fioravanti wins the 12th edition of the international competition for young film music composers at the Film Music Festival in Krakow, Poland, as his score illustrating one of the scenes from The Peasants was deemed the best. He lives in Utrecht and works as a composer, arranger, orchestrator, teacher, and sound engineer. He is taking part in a Master of Music program at the University of the Art – Music and Technology (HKU) in Utrecht, the Netherlands. 

Fioravanti, born in Argentina, is the third Young Talent Award winner to work from the Netherlands, after Matthijs Kieboom (2013) and Joep Sporck (2016), who has won this award.
