On April 16, the winners of the Buma Music in Media Awards were announced during an award show in LIEF in Amsterdam. These awards celebrate the best music for media from the past year in the Netherlands. They were given in 12 categories, including an oeuvre award, which was awarded to Vincent van Warmerdam for all his achievements in music for media in his long career.
